Alex Riak is a composer, orchestrator and storyteller based in Los Angeles, California. Fueled on a childhood passion for stories stemming from film, video games, and books, Alex strives to create music that is as memorable and emotionally impactful as the stories it supports.
Alex holds a B.M in Music Composition from Illinois Wesleyan University and an M.F.A in Music Composition for the Screen from Columbia College Chicago. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2020, Alex has worked alongside Walter Murphy (Family Guy, American Dad), Joel Goodman (Murder Among The Mormons, Becoming Elmo), and Kubilay Uner (American Traitor: The Trial of Axis Sally, Force Of Nature).
When Alex isn’t collaborating with other creatives, he can be found learning new skills, playing video games, and searching for unique socks to add to his collection.
